Our project consists in developing a prototype of an intelligent solar dryer capable of operating for the drying of all agro-food products. This dryer will be designed with locally available materials and will use solar energy as a source of energy. For its operation, it will be accompanied by a photovoltaic system composed of a solar panel, a regulator, batteries to operate the regulator and fans with thermal radiators. The problem of the valorization and the conservation of the agricultural products is not yet solved in a satisfactory way in Senegal. Indeed, Senegal is a country with an agricultural vocation because 60% of the population is devoted to this activity. The quantities produced are becoming more and more important as well as the losses linked especially to the weakness of the level of transformation, for lack of infrastructures of transformation and conservation. Offering solar dryer operating off-grid to fight against the phenomena of seasonality is our objective to value the surplus and loss of food products designed during the harvest. And to bring help to the community so that we don't talk about hunger anymore.
