Title: Study and design a solar powered electric oven Summary: The project consists of the design of a solar powered electric oven for cooking gari. Indeed, the gari is a special cassava flour which is widely consumed in Benin. We found that its preparation method is still artisanal using firewood despite efforts to improve it. This artisanal preparation of gari exposes the people who carry out this activity, to extreme amounts of heat. Our system proposes a closed oven using heating plates which use energy from photovoltaic modules to cook the gari and obtain a good quality of it.
